DESCRIPTION
3D Pop-Up Christmas Tree Card
Flat enough to post, and a decorated Christmas tree the moment the cover opens. Layered laser-c
A flat printed card
One printed picture that stays flat in the hand
Read once, then usually set aside
Nothing to look at after the message is read
Ends up in a drawer with the others
This pop-up card
Layers of cut paper rise into a tree as it opens
Stays out on a desk, shelf or dinner table
The tree is the surprise, before a word is read
Folds flat again and stores until next December

What happens when it opens
🎄
The tree rises on its own
Open the cover and the tree comes up with the fold. No assembly, no folding by hand, no tape.
✂️
Layered, laser-cut paper
Branches, baubles and gift boxes are cut from paper and slotted together, so the tree has real depth in person.
📮
Posts as a normal card
It closes back to 15 × 20 cm, so it goes in a standard envelope and posts flat like any other card.
🏠
Stands up as a decoration
Once open it stands on its own base — on a desk, a windowsill, a mantel or the Christmas dinner table.
⭐
Finished down to the base
A pointed gold star at the crown, printed baubles in red, white and blue, and a gift stack on a red disc.
🔁
Closes flat to store
Fold it shut, slip it back in the sleeve, and it takes up no more room than a card until next year.
Opening it without creasing it
Paper pop-ups are sturdy, but they only open one way. Thirty seconds the first time.
Lay it flat, cover up
Rest the closed card on a table with the front cover facing up. Do not try to pull the tree out from the top.
Open slowly from the bottom
Slide a finger into the gap along the bottom edge and let the cover fall open. The tree comes up with the fold.
Open right out to 180°
Press the cover down until the card lies open and flat. The red base should sit flush on the table with the tree upright.
Close base-first
Let the tree fold down before the cover comes over it. Never press the tree flat with your hand.

Where it works
💌
On top of a present
Tape it to a wrapped gift or tuck it in a parcel — it finishes the present in a way a flat card cannot.
✉️
Posted to family
It posts flat, so it reaches grandparents and family abroad without being crushed on the way.
🕯️
Desk and dinner table
Stand it on a desk, a windowsill or the Christmas table — it stays up on its own once opened.

Frequently asked questions
How tall is the tree once the card is open?
The tree rises from the centre fold, so its height depends on how far you open the card — held half open it sits low, and at a full 180° it stands at its tallest, roughly as high as the card is wide, so about 15 cm to the crown. The card itself is 15 × 20 cm closed. Treat the tree height as a guide rather than a fixed measurement, since it is set by the opening angle.
Will it survive being posted?
Yes, because it posts folded flat at 15 × 20 cm with nothing standing up to crush. For long distances use a rigid or lightly padded envelope rather than a thin paper one, and do not put anything heavy on top of it if it travels inside a parcel. Write your message before posting, not after — opening and closing it a few times in a post office is how creases happen.
Does it come with an envelope?
The card itself is included. An envelope or paper sleeve is only included where the variant you choose lists one, so check the option before ordering. If you need an envelope, the card is 15 × 20 cm and fits a standard A5 envelope (148 × 210 mm) with a little room to spare.
Where do I write my message?
The tree takes up the centre of the card; the flat panel in front of the red base is where you write. Lay the card flat and use a fine-tip pen, and do not press hard on the pop-up section — pressure there is what creases the fold. If you want a longer message, write it on a small card and tuck it behind the tree base.
Can it be used again next year?
Yes, if you handle it gently. Close it base-first, store it flat in the sleeve or between the pages of a heavy book, and keep it out of damp. Paper folds do soften a little with repeated opening and closing, so a card that has been opened many times may stand slightly less stiffly — it is a greeting card, not a permanent ornament.
What buyers say
★★★★★
"Sent this instead of a normal card and my mum rang to say she had it open on the sideboard. The tree really does come up by itself when you lift the cover."

"Arrived flat and I worried it would be flimsy, but the layers are properly cut and slotted. It has been standing on my desk for two weeks now."

★★★★★
"Posted it in a padded envelope to my sister in another state and it turned up in perfect shape. Good size — not too big for a normal card."
Verified Buyer
★★★★★
"Bought three to go with presents. The gold star and the little gift boxes at the bottom are what make it look more expensive than it was."
